Working closely with the owners and the property managers, Shade and Membrane Structures Australia were tasked with the complete turnkey delivery of the clients’ requirements for the car park shade structures.
This turnkey shade structure package included:
- Full site preliminary services scan
- Full site preliminary Geotec analysis
- Full site preliminary survey
- Local council liaising including acquiring both the DA and CC
- Full site shade structure layout and design
- Footings and structure design and engineering
- Footings installation
- Structural fabrication and installation of frames, fabric, and componentry
- Design and installation of lighting
This project was a great example of how local shopping centres can achieve the same results for their car park shade as the larger corporations. Because we have completed many similar projects in the past, we were able to take the client all the way through this process; and even with COVID border restrictions, we managed to finish the car park shade structure project on time and on budget.
