Shade and Membrane Structures Australia were engaged by Taylor Constructions to complete the design and construction of 3,739sqm of car park shade structures across six different structures for the Coles Huntlee greenfield shopping centre project. Being a greenfield project, this car park shade structure was installed before the shopping centre was completed. Our team were once again able to combine excellence in design, fabrication and construction to produce a stunning result. This shopping centre shade structure now provides shade for the customers of the Huntlee Shopping Centre as well as protection from the elements.
At SMSA, we pride ourselves on standout design. This shopping centre car park shade structure is an excellent example of our commitment to design. We designed the Coles Huntlee car park shade solution primarily for function; however, it also provides a visual statement that complements the shopping centre’s alfresco design.
In this project, SMSA, together with Taylor Constructions, was able to successfully complete the project on time, on budget and to the pleasure of the end clients.
