Coles Mount Gambier – Car Park Shade Structure

Shade and Membrane Structures Australia

Shade and Membrane Structures Australia were engaged by Lanskey Constructions as design and construction partners for car park shade structures at Coles Mount Gambier. This project consisted of 3,200sqm of car park shade structures spanning seven different structures. These car park shade structures would then finalise the Lanskey build and lead to excellent customer benefit for this greenfield shopping centre project.

As always, our shade structure fabrication process ensured that the highest quality HDG steel frames and custom fittings and connection details were used in this project. The fabric used was a Ferrari 912 Tensile Membrane. This waterproof material has PVC PDVF coating, which means it not only looks spectacular but provides long-lasting protection for the client.

Working through and around bad weather and severe cross-border COVID restrictions, SMSA, together with Lanskey Constructions, was able to complete the car park shade structure project on time, on budget, and to the pleasure of the end clients.

The Coles Mount Gambier project is an excellent example of how a car park shade structure finishes a shopping centre precinct. We look forward to working with Lanskey again on many projects in the future
