Elizabeth Shopping Centre – Solar Car Park

Shade and Membrane Structures Australia

Shade and Membrane Structures Australia and our sister company PV Structures were contracted to offer an on site Project Management and installation services for the delivery of the solar car park shade structures on this project.  SMSA and our guys from PV Structures, found ourselves working through poor ground and project conditions, terrible weather and trying times to ensure that our services and part of the project were completed to the highest standard.

This project was completed in tandem with another shopping centre site in Edwardstown SA and combined we installed enough Solar Car Park Shade Structures  to house approx. 4.3mW of solar panels or close to 27,000sqm of covered area, and around 420 footings, which is effectively the largest project of its kind in the Southern hemisphere.

The scale of this project is large, and the benefits to the end user are even larger. The Elizabeth Shopping Centre is now able to benefit from the solar system that they installed which includes our solar car park shade structures combined with rooftop solar panels. This combined system would generate an impressive amount of electricity and goes a long way to powering the shopping centre itself.

SMSA and our sister companies PV Structures and Solar Car Parks  are outright leaders in the Solar Car Park Shade Structure field.
